Emilio Thomas | Full-Stack Engineer

Hi, I'm Emilio.

I came to software from music. I trained as a pianist and studied at a recording school before switching over.

I started out running my own digital agency for two years, doing everything from the cold outreach to the deployment. That taught me the parts of the job that are not code: scoping honestly, saying what something will really cost, and writing documentation someone else can actually follow.

Since then I have worked as a Salesforce developer, led delivery at an AI consulting firm across e-sports, real estate and healthcare clients, and shipped cross-platform apps in Kotlin, Flutter and React.

Lately, alongside contract work, most of my spare time goes into my own projects: a fintech app that finds tax deductions in everyday spending, and a set of predictive models I build, backtest and run live.
